Day in the Life of a Youth Program Leader

Youth Program Leaders arrive early to welcome the children as they come in. Their responsibilities are to interact with the children by leading fun interactive activities. Those activities include but are not limited to going on field trips, swimming, recreational games, and arts and crafts.  

To succeed as a Youth Program Leader, you must be willing to have fun and socialize with the children. Although having fun is a large part of this job, you must always be alert and aware of the children’s safety and surroundings. 

At the end of the day, Youth Program Leaders are responsible for cleaning up their room and releasing children to parents who present a government issued ID.
